Rosy took a little longer than Sunny to fully wake and get up for our evening walk and dinner. Daylight savings is tough.
We had fun adventures yesterday! We got to go for drives, help Mom and Dad run errands, stop for a quick visit at Dad’s work (well, we stayed in the car but it still counts), and go to Petsmart!
We met some friendly small dogs and even a handsome Doberman mix (Mom is bonkers for Dobermans, we’re lucky she didn’t embarrass us by swooning dead to the floor). He sat politely to greet us, but Roxy’s full-body-wiggle of super-enthusiasm while sniffing him skeeved him out a little and he decided to wander away.
That’s okay though, she found immediate consolation butt scritches from a nice lady who has pugs in the family. I was happy just to sniff things and get a cookie at the checkout counter. It was a good day! :)
Tomorrow, Atlas turns two!!! Since it’s on a Monday (blech), we are celebrating today, and his new ‘fit is giving him liiiiiiife.
"Sunny, let’s nap together! Come on, snuggle closer!"
"Ok, now it’s nap time. Please continue rubbing my belly until I fall asleep."
"First we sunbathe with the windows open and the sun shining, then we nap!"
Ugh daylight savings. We’re happy that it’ll be light out for our evening walk, but right now we’re really missing that extra hour of sleep! Nap time?
